Dear Crystal Deweerd,

I am writing this letter in regards of why I think iPads aren't the greatest thing for student studies. Moreover, based on the unresolved technical issues I personally have encountered! has discouraged me.

I am a student at broadview universitity, and have experienced many issues that has prevented me from finishing my homework. The fact that iPads require internet access to have them function has set me back already. Teachers expect you to have access to do homework, which already has me falling behind. All though they give you the option to opt out for books, you would still have to bring your iPad because they expect you to use other programs like near pod, and iMovie. Lastly, the fact that the school is leaving it up for us to purchase the apple care, not all of us have the money to afford it.

I propose that the iPad should not be a major homework necessity. I agree that we should still have it for the near pod for the in class activities. But other than that no outside homework on it especially for online homework. I find it unfair as to why we needed them in the first place.
